Team Updates

u9s

They play Bantry in the Castle Grounds next Saturday morning.


u10s

The u10s  had a great day in UCD in the Kilmacud blitz on Bank Holiday Monday.


u11s

The u11s played two good games last week against Naomh Abán and Canovee. They will continue to train this Tuesday night and have a league game away to Douglas this Saturday.


u12s

The u12s had a good win over Duarigle Gaels in a friendly on Bank Holiday Monday evening in the Castle Grounds. They now play a league game versus O'Donovan Rossa Friday night at 7pm in Tom Creedon Park.


u14s

The 14s recorded a very good win in the league last Thursday versus Aghinagh in the Castle Grounds. The final score was 2-15 to 3-7. Macroom had 22 players togged out and all players saw action.

u15s

The u15s played a Super 10s Munster GAA blitz on Saturday last in Macroom against Grenagh, Canovee and Glenflesk. They were missing a number of players on the day but would like to acknowledge all the players who togged out on the day. They were competitive in all games and it was a good experience for all involved. The players all received Munster GAA t-shirts after the game. A huge thanks to Catherine Cahill, Claire Creedon and Geraldine O'Sullivan and everybody who helped out and for organising tea, coffee and refreshments which all contributed to a successful day.

Premier Intermediates
The Premier Intermediates lost out to Newcestown in the league last Friday night. The team that played was:


Brendan O'Connell, James O'Connor, Olan O'Mahony, Paul O'Farrell, Gerard Angland, Rory Buckley, Sean McMahon, Caleb Dineen, Fintan Goold, John Murphy, Michael Cronin, Don Creedon, Conor O'Sullivan, Pa Lucey, Dylan Twomey. Subs Introduced - David Cotter, Deccie Kiely, Olan Murphy, Jack Cronin.


Golf Classic

The annual Macroom GAA Golf Classic was held in Macroom Golf Club last Friday and was a huge success with over fifty teams participating. The officers of the club would like to place on record a huge thanks to the organising committee who continue to put in a massive effort to make this such a wonderful event. The organising comittee are as follows Paddy Murphy, Don Buckley, John O'Mahony, Kevin Hinchion, Pat Crowley, Denis Buckley, Tom O'Sullivan. The club would also like to thank the main sponsors of the golf classic Ciaran Ryan Plant & Haulage Limited, Kevin & Maeve Hinchion, Macroom Haulage, Pat O'Connell, Castle Hotel, Murphy Fuels, Daf Trucks. Carrauntoohill:

A group of our adult footballers enjoyed a great day out last Saturday and climbed Carrauntoohill Ireland's highest mountain - it was great to see the club colours on display at the top of the mountain!
