The following clubs are holding Poc Fada / Cic Fada events over the festive season.
Ballinhassig
The Ballinhassig GAA Club Long Puck will take place on Wednesday December 26th on the Halfway Road in the townland of Goggans Hill. It is planned that the long puck will commence at 10am.
Glen Rovers
The Glen Rovers Poc Fada will take place on Sunday December 30th with registration at the club at 9.30am.
Grenagh
Grenagh GAA Annual Poc Fada in association with Cork Mental Health Foundation and Cork ARC, Cancer Support House.
Sunday 30th Dec at 1pm.
Starting at Kilmona Cross.
Please come along for a bit of fun and support these great causes.
Inniscarra
The Inniscarra GAA Annual Seamus Noonan Memorial Poc Fada will take place on Wednesday 26th December 2018 @ 12 noon commencing at Blair's Inn and travelling towards the club grounds in Ballyanly. Teams of 3. Adults €10.00 Juvenile €5.00. Light refreshments in the clubhouse after. All funds raised on the day go to Local charities.
Kilmurray
Kilmurry GAA Alan Buckley Memorial Kic fada on Saturday 29th December.Leaving Kilmurry Village at 11am and heading to Beal Na Blath.All funds raised are to support the rehabilitation costs of John Kennedy (Ina O Sullivans's husband).Team of three 30 euro. Kids 5euro. All Welcome
Midleton
The annual Sean Keohane Memorial Long Puck will take place on St Stephens’s morning December 26th over the usual course from Lisgoold village to the East Cork Oil depot Broomfield.
The Juvenile section will have a Fun puck over half the course whilst the Adults will compete in teams of 3 @ €10 each. The buses will depart the Club at 9.30am sharp for Lisgoold.
Please note that Viz vests and sliotars are essential. Everybody is welcome and refreshments will be served in the Club immediately afterwards.
St Finbarrs
The Fionnbarra Naofa Poc-Fada Competition GAA will take place on 27th December starting at “Coolkellure and finishing at Corcoran Bridge in the townland of Togher. It is planned that the Puck Fada competition will commence at 11.00 am and take three hours approximately.
