Healthy Club Programme information evening.

Clubs are invited to send a member to an information / training evening in Pairc Ui Rinn, next Wednesday night, January 23rd at 7.00pm. A representative from Croke Park will facilitate a presentation on what is involved for a club to get involved in the Healthy Club programme.
This is a much in demand programme in which 6 Cork clubs are currently involved- St Finbarrs, Killeagh, Clonakilty, Midleton, Macroom and Newtownshandrum. All these clubs have got very positive results from their involvement- greater community presence, increased use and awareness of their facilities, greater networking and support, bigger markets for fundraising and increased numbers of volunteers. It has made them more attractive to the wider community.
