Club Cup dedicated to late Hugo Casey, Macroom legend.

News:

• The U-12s will run their annual blitz next Sat. 14^th of Oct. With the gracious permission of the Casey family, the Hugo Casey Cup will be presented to the winning team. 4 teams will participate and the competition begins at 12 noon in the Tom Creedon Park.
• Fund-Raising Walk. A good crowd took part in the walk to the Weirs and back, and a substantial sum of money was generated. Concubhar Murray was the main organiser and he got great help.
• Club Leagues; the club is organising leagues for the U-7s to U-14s and these will be played under lights in the Castle Grounds on Wed. 18^th – older group(s) – and Fri. 20^th for the younger lads. Alan O’Shea is the lead person and it is hoped to recruit current older players to manage the various sides. Please contact Alan or Diarmuid Holland if interested in helping.

Teams:

 Both the Minors and the U-16s have league play-off games to come.

The U-14s continue to train and will finish with the club league.

The U-6s, U-7s-U-8s, U-9s and U-10s have completed their Sat. training sessions. All groups worked hard and enjoyed their year. Every section made huge progress in 2017.

This Week:

Sat. 14^th  : The ‘Hugo Casey’ Cup/U-12 Blitz will take place in TCP, and begins at 12 noon. Please address any queries to Stephen Moore. This will conclude their season.

Sat. 14^th: U-7s/U-8s have a monster blitz in Páirc Uí Chaoimh’s new Astro pitch. This will conclude their season.

 Sun. 15^th : The U-6s will play Canovee in Castle Grounds in the morning. This match will conclude their season.

After That:

Minors and U-16s will have league play-offs.

Club Leagues on 18^th and 20^th of October under lights in Castle Grounds.
