Earliest Memory of Playing for Macroom: Underage training in the Castle Grounds Saturday morning when I was 5 or 6.
If you could attend any sporting event what would it be?: Superbowl
Biggest influence: Without doubt my parents. Joe Carroll, Leo and Pa Goold were a great help all through my underage career too.
Superstitions or match day routines: Mostly involves a combination of stretching, foam rolling and hot water bottles these days!
Favourite Macroom player past or present: Unfortunately never got to see Tom Creedon (RIP) play but from everything I heard I always aspired to be like him.
Best part of playing for Macroom: Pride in representing our town and all the friends and memories made.
Most important skill in hurling/football. Being able to use both feet/hands.
All time favourite GAA Player: Anthony Lynch
Three famous people to share a Connie Hurley's with: Tom Brady, Alex Ferguson and Pat Kelleher.
Advice to younger/older players: Use the ball when you can not when you have to.
Have you ever taken a short cut while running the golf course: Never. If you take shortcuts in preparation you'll always have doubts come the big day.
