Lights Up (Operation Transformation)

Macroom GAA in association with and with the support of Macroom LGFA and Foroige Macroom is pleased to announce that we will be hosting Ireland Lights Up (Operation Transformation) from 7pm to 8pm every Wednesday evening commencing on Wednesday the 11th of January 2023.  The event will be held in the Castle Grounds, Macroom until the conclusion of Operation Transformation on the 1st of March 2023.  This is for a period of 7 weeks (8 nights) up to and including Wednesday the 1st of March 2023.

The event is run in accordance with Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking.  The Castle Grounds will be lit up and we would love to see as many people as possible come down and get involved in a safe and healthy environment.  This is an annual initiative aimed at helping people to connect in a healthy way during the dark winter evenings.  People will be asked to sign in while attending so that numbers can be recorded.  Tea & coffee will be provided in the Macroom GAA pavilion for everyone.
